This title for my collage is perfect! "Bridging Worlds" is exactly what we do when we juxtapose images of different places, times, subjects or attitudes. We take pieces of the world and move them around until they resonate and create new meaning, a whole new never-before-seen reality. The stories and images resulting from my process are often ambiguous or mysterious. Ambiguity offers the viewer many options as to what the "story" might be.
Another reason this is a great title is that a Xerox of the Rio Grande Bridge outside of Taos, NM is embedded within the composition.
Once a wise teacher told me when I was feeling burdened and weighted down with responsibility, "Heaven has a gravity too". I like this notion of being pulled upward.
